The Great Holiday Escape 2016: Baguio Day 2 (Part 1)
Day 2 begins with a low carb and high fat breakfast! Woot! So before giving birth to this new baby of mine (this blog, duh!) I really wanted to share with you guys my journey towards getting "primed." That's the lifestyle that I am adapting now, with my new coach, Chad Davis of Primed For Your Life. I used to do the ketogenic way of living, but I couldn't maintain the strict computing of carbs and calories (we were advised to log in everything we ate in an app so we can check if we're hitting our macros). I prefer to eat intuitively, and not keep thinking about the grams of fat and protein and carbs I consume daily. So I switched to getting "primed" and I've been loving it ever since. It's not very different from keto that's why it wasn't hard adjusting to it. The whole process of getting into health and wellness is teaching me a lot. I learned that it really takes awhile to find the suitable way of living healthy for you. It's not the same for everyone. Different strokes for different folks.
This is what I usually eat daily for breakfast: Lots of eggs (with lots of butter), protein (from meat, poultry, or seafood), and veggies. Lots of it. I enjoyed this meal because of the crunchy dilis, cheeses, and that fluffy omelette!
Anyway, I'll have more blog posts that's focused on healthy living in the near future. 😉
Day 2 in Baguio and we're ready to go shopping in Mile Hi Center at Camp John Hay!
Syempre dapat may aura-aura, emote-emote pics by the pine trees.
What I wore
Better Basics dress | Folded & Hung jacket | Dorothy Perkins scarf | Japan flea market cap and socks | Cotton On rubber shoes | Veloci watch | Lily + Olivia sunnies
Shopping time! 💓 A few years back, we discovered Designer Rack in Mile Hi Center. It's an outlet store with really trendy and affordable plus size clothes! Since then, whenever we're in Baguio, we make it a point to scout the place for more fresh finds. We always bring home cute tops and dresses! Woot! Can't wait to show you guys!
Coffee break! Our uncle, aka Kuya Alvin, treated us to coffee. We stayed inside, talked and laughed about our lola's bloopers in life. LOL. My family tree is full of nuts.
Shout out to Toyota Motor Philippines for lending us two rides for our trip up the mountains! I had fun driving along the ziggy-zaggy roads of Baguio with the windows down! 😎
